Where has the year gone? I can hardly believe that the festive season is around the corner.
Once again I have started out slow in the race and all the thing I wanted to do this year will probably be left for my "new list" next year.
There is one thing though that is non negotiable and that is to spend the festive season with my family. This year instead of the small store bought tree we will have a real tree, we will decorate it together and watch together as "Santa" starts putting down some early surprises.
This year we will have Christmas in our own home that we all worked so hard to make into the house we wanted. All our hard work and tears of frustration will be rewarded when we sit around that tree and listen to Festive Carols while we open the gifts received from our loved ones.
But, this year I also want to make sure that the children know how truly Blessed they are. I want us to think of those that are less fortunate and if possible, perhaps this year we can also make a stranger smile.
