Chrissy was recently the subject of unfounded claims that she’s linked to the Jeffery Epstein sex scandal.
Chrissy Teigen’s got more to get off her chest.
The model and cookbook author has opened up in an Instagram
post where she shared her dark mental and emotional state during her shoot with
Marie Claire magazine just days after her breast reduction surgery – all while she
was pregnant with her third child!
“I was so so, so scared. The aggression on my body took a
toll on the baby and I just mentally came to terms with it ‘not working out’” she
says in the caption. “It had never worked out naturally before so for sure it wouldn’t
now!”
She’s been candid about her and husband John Legend’s
struggles to fall pregnant, and using IVF to help conceive their children Luna
(4) and Miles (2).
Chrissy’s
sass and biting wit on everything from cooking, parenting, her husband and politics
and current affairs has made her bait for online trolls. She was recently the
subject of unfounded claims that she’s linked to the Jeffery Epstein sex scandal.
Despite her
sunny exterior, it all took a toll.
“I was struggling hard with some deep dark internet and real
life days,” she wrote in her post. “I have lived a life begging for people to
like me and think I’m cool and funny and their friend, and bam, it felt like
everyone f**king hated me. I couldn’t do anything right, say anything right.”
In an interview
with Marie Claire magazine,
she reveals how online hate and police brutality in the US led her to make the
decision to start seeing a therapist during quarantine, after rejecting the
idea for years. She was advised that she needed to take a break from social
media for her well-being.
“There’s so much worse in the world, but man, aside from the
world sucking, my little world sucked too. Making people happy is my entire
life. There’s nothing else I wanna do,” the soon-to-be mom of three continued
in her post. “I guess I’ve come to terms with the fact that not everyone is
going to like me, and even though I still very much do not like that, I can live
with it.”
“I love you guys a lot and have ohhhhh so appreciated the
support the past few months. Now you know what it meant to me!”
