How does one deal with covidiots who refuse to wear masks in a pandemic? Easy, you shoot them in the face, says YouTube star Allen Pan (30).

The electrical engineer behind the channel Allen Pan - Sufficiently Advanced has invented a “mask gun,” inspired by an episode of The Simpsons.

While Homer Simpson invented a makeup gun, Allen’s device, crafted from car parts and a cylinder of compressed carbon dioxide, fires surgical masks.

He tested his invention on a mannequin and worked out the kinks until he felt confident enough to try it on himself. If you’re wondering, no, it doesn’t hurt.

“It feels like someone is slapping you across the face with a piece of paper. It is relatively gentle,” he told CNN.

Allen field tested his gadget at Huntington Beach in California, a hotspot of anti-mask protests, but on a mannequin, not live targets.

He announced that while he will not be setting up a production line of mask guns, he hopes more people will come to their senses and start wearing masks to keep themselves, and others, safe.
