Avid royal followers have voiced their anger after Prince Harry and Meghan have again failed to show Archie’s face in a recent picture of the tot.

To celebrate Archie turning two, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released an image of the little one on the Archewell site. In the filtered image, the two-year-old can be seen holding a large bunch of balloons with his back facing the camera.

Although most had good things to say about the image, a few annoyed royal fans rushed to social media to air their grievances about not being able to see Archie’s face.

“The more they disguise Archie’s face the more they create a lack of support for loving their family.

“I want to support them but I feel they are too afraid to show a good family image,” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Yay! Another staged and filtered picture of the back [of] Archie’s head!” wrote another.

Other royal fans were quick to come to the Sussexes’ defence, saying that the pair understandably hide their little one’s face.

“Why would they show his face with all the scrutiny he has already been through – his hair, his skin. Leave that little baby alone,” one person tweeted.

“You should be happy they have the forethought to not splash his face all over. He is a kid and deserves privacy. When he turns 18+ he can decide for himself what he wants,” said another person.

This is, of course, not the first time Meghan and Harry have decided not to show Archie’s face in official photos. To celebrate Harry’s first Father Day, the pair released an image of the duke holding Archie’s tiny hand.

The picture failed to meet royal fans' expectations as most of Archies face was covered by Harry’s hand.

Last Christmas, the couple released a drawing showing Harry and Meghan along with Archie, who can be seen playing with their dogs, Pula and Guy.

Once again, royal followers accused the pair of hiding Archie by using a cartoon drawing.

“It’s nothing more than a ridiculous cartoon image! Why are they hiding Archie?” one person wrote.

Sharing her insights with Daily Express, parenting expert Victoria Jennings says it’s obvious Harry and Meghan are hiding Archie’s face for the sake of privacy.

“All parents have the right to request some anonymity for their child if they so wish and spend the first part of their baby's life bonding and learning more about them,” she says.

“It is always a parent's choice as to how many images they share. One could argue that all children should be allowed anonymity and should Meghan and Harry prefer to keep baby Archie out of the spotlight, then their wishes should be respected.”
