It’s nearly time for yet another royal wedding! On Saturday, May 19 Meghan Markle will marry Prince Harry in what is set to be an opulent affair. We simply can't wait (or contain our excitement) to finally see how the day plays out.
But these manufacturers are even more excited than us, though. Or should we say as excited as the people who are buying these products. They’re just, well, strange.
Have a look:
Crown Jewels of London released a limited edition pack of condoms to celebrate the royal wedding. A bit of a stretch?
It comes in a special box that plays God Save The Queen and The Star Spangled Banner when opened. Plus there’s a really tacky picture of Meghan and Harry on the pack so you can think of them as you prepare to, well, do your thing.
Get them from Crown Jewels for £10 (R168).
Swimsuits with Harry and Meghan’s faces on them
Brought to you by Bags Of Love, an online service which allows people to print photos of their choice on a range of products. They’ve created these swimsuits with Harry and Meghan’s faces on them (but don’t worry you can get Will and Kate too) and they’re rather disturbing in my opinion.
Get them from Bags Of Love for £28-38 (R470 – R637).
Wooden royal carriage kit
UGears brought out a special edition wooden royal carriage model kit in celebration of the royal wedding. It can be assembled in a few hours without tools or glue and even has a hidden motor.
Get it from UGears for £39.99 (R671).
Sparkle like Markle balloon
Bubblegumballoons.co.uk released an orb balloon to celebrate the royal wedding. It floats out of a box when opened and can last up to three weeks.
Get it from Bubblegumballoons.co.uk for £35.40 (R593).
Sodasteam hat-topped reusable bottles
In celebration of the royal couple’s wedding and their dedication to the fight against single-use plastic bottles, SodaStream, the world’s largest sparkling water brand, has dressed up a set of limited edition bottles to be auctioned as a donation to the plastic-free charity - Surfers Against Sewage.
Each of the five exclusive hat designs is inspired by an iconic look previously sported by female royals. The concept was imagined by the Israeli innovation agency, Gefen Team, and developed jointly with SodaStream’s global marketing team.
Limited edition bottles are being auctioned off on royalsodastream.com.
