Social media went abuzz when news of basketball player Tristan Thompson broke that he has allegedly been cheating on his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian.

What came as a surprise to many was that a few days later reality TV star Khloe gave birth and Tristan was by her side. The cherry on top is that the couple went ahead and named their daughter True Thompson. Now, what people want to know is was that Khloe's way of confirming the rumors and if so has she forgiven the basketball player?

Here are signs to tell if you haven't forgiven your partner for cheating.

You don't trust him around other women

If it were up to you, the only women your partner would interact with would be his mom and siblings. Anyone besides that might derail and tempt him to stop being committed to you. Regardless of how innocent a friendship may be, you don't make an effort to get along with the woman and eventually she becomes the centre of every fight you have with your partner.

You joke about you cheating

Very often than not, you throw a hint or two about what would happen if you were to 'see other people'. As much revenge might seem like the best option at that moment, it only makes the situation worse than it already is. If you had forgiven him you would understand just how much cheating destroys relationships and isn't something to joke around about.

You stop initiating sex

If you aren't comfortable with him being sexual with you, chances are you haven't laid the issue to rest. It's important to give yourself time to heal after discovering such news because you don't want to pretend to be enjoying being intimate while the thought of him with another women is still occupying your mind.

You don't want him to go out

According to relationship expert Gary Chapman, it's important for couples to realise that infidelity is by choice and not by association. In his book 5 Love Languages, he says it's totally possible for a man to hang out with peers who are engaging in infidelity and still remain faithful to his partner. He goes on to explain that when a person chooses to cheat, it's usually by choice and not the other way around. Considering the above, preventing your man from going out isn't going to better the situation. The trust has been broken and it's up to the two of you to rebuild it.

You pass a lot of snide remarks

Joking is no longer only limited to general topics, you now push below the belt in attempt to get him worked up. While this may be funny at that moment bringing the issue up every chance you get isn't going to help your relationship get back to where it was. So if you chose to stay in the relationship be sure that you'll be willing to work at it with him.

Your relationship with his friends has become awkward

Because you're heart broken, you see everyone affiliated to your man as the villain. Questions like 'did they know' 'why didn't they warn me' play with your mind so much so that you blame his friends for your man's behaviour. This is the most common technique most people use to deal with infidelity , however it's unfair because your partner is the one at fault and not them.
