A city girl through and through, Lise van Schoor loves nothing more than a spontaneous get-together on her porch or a friendly chat with neighbours strolling by. She also loves the fact that you can hear the cheers when the lights come back on after loadshedding and how much pride the community takes in the upkeep of their street corners, which burst with flowers in spring. 

Lise moved to the popular suburb of Tamboerskloof in Cape Town’s city centre in 2021 after living in Sea Point for eight years, and she couldn’t be more thrilled.
