Home food editor Johané Neilson has a lovely light-filled home office. However, the only work surface was a decrepit old wooden desk, and essential technology like the inverter and printer were out in the open – a disaster waiting to happen with a toddler who loves to press buttons. 

A sleek window seat that offers loads of storage, with a neat desk alongside for stationery, as well as a drawer and a cupboard to store both the printer and inverter out of sight.
