Luxurious outfits were the order of the day at the V-Models Bloemfontein Phantom of the Opera Fashion Show held on Saturday, 9 December.

It was a night of true, theatre style entertainment showcasing local designs with the nostalgic, musical notes of the classical stage production Phantom of the Opera. Venessa Versfeld-Weber, founder and owner of V-ModelsSA, said the theme was carried through the night, as ice clinked away in glasses and guests ate to their hearts content at the Jim Fouche High School.

“Feedback after, has been excellent with some guests even moved to tears.”

Tegan Botes was crowned Senior Model of the Year 2023, with Carla Dirker crowned as Junior Model of the year 2023.

Dance Dominations dancers presented entertainment whilst models from the local modeling academy V-Models presented a dramatic Phantom of the Opera themed fashion show, showcasing creations by local designers. This included designs by Manhattan Design, Santi Truter Designs and DK Bridal Boutique.

Versfeld-Weber has expressed great satisfaction in the evening’s entertainment and thanked training manager Monique Cromhout, the Botes-family and all collaborators for their immense efforts in pulling off a fantastic show.
