Born in Venda and raised by her grandmother in Joburg, Sirame’s journey in journalism began in 2010 while studying towards a BA Degree in Journalism at the University of Johannesburg. How has being on Metro FM been so far?

I’ve always wanted to be part of Metro FM. I spent the past two years sending my demo to the station repeatedly, hoping and waiting for an opportunity. My experience has been great, despite the challenges of having to start at a new workplace during a pandemic. The Kings Suite team has been so welcoming and eager to get to know me. But, most of all, I’m grateful to be able to reach millions of people through radio to both inform and entertain, especially during this time.
