Nine months! Yes, nine months is how long we have to wait for American actress and musician Ashanti to get back to entertaining us as she recently took to Instagram to announce that she and rapper Nelly are expecting a baby.
The announcement follows years after the Body on me hitmakers decided to break up but, according to the Los Angelos Times, the couple found their way back together in 2023 when Nelly confirmed that they had made amends.

Apart from the couple continuously posting each other on social media, Ashanti announced in an exclusive with Essence magazine that she and Nelly are engaged and expecting a baby.
Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade
Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade’s love story took a break in April 2013 after being together for four years. Glamour UK reports that the couple was back together in December 2013 and have been living happily ever after since.
Steve Harvey and Marjorie Harvey
Even though some were confident that the couple was indeed facing troubles and that they have parted ways, a CNN article says Majorie took to her Instagram account to deny the “foolish lies.” After having dated before they had kids, the couple split. But, according to People magazine, in 2007, the pair got married resulting in a beautifully blended family.
