“A nebula is an enormous cloud of dust and gas occupying the space between stars and acting as a nursery for new stars,” she explains in the image caption.
And who could forget the divine feminine of her TRUELOVE October/November 2021 cover that saw her draped in a flamboyant Port of LNG gown paired with white gloves and pearls styled by Lesego Kgosimolao? A perfect look fit for a queen.

Talking to us about what her fashion sense means to her, Linda says, “I think style is really personal and my interpretation is always a new version of it. We wear art through clothing, the things that we say, the things that we look at, and I think when you wear your clothes, you’re wearing things that you think about. Some parts of you that people can actually see.”
It’s clear that Linda takes pride in pushing boundaries with her fashion, no matter how upscale or casual the occasion is.
Her latest fashion statement came with the launch of BET’s upcoming drama series Queendom, in which the theme for the evening was kasi glam to reflect the modernity of the show.
She describes the inspiration for the all-denim ‘fit.
“So, what the theme was for today was kasi glam and my character, a girl from Tsakane, I thought denim would be the best fitting for her to actually to wear, paired up with a pair of silver boots like this so she could be upgrading in life.
“I think the reasoning behind [this] outfit is based off my character and also myself and I love a good fit. And the denim is blue to, obviously, embrace the water influence and it’s a bit flowy on the legs to represent the water and the rivers that flow, and the story is about how life is so intertwined and the delicacy of it all and I think embracing that the denim is not new denim.”

Linda’s all-denim look was designed by an up-and-coming designer named Waldo. She describes how the patchwork of the denim reflects the resourcefulness of her character Ntandokayise and the overall worldbuilding in Queendom.
The trained educator and girl mom also shares with us that she’s “worked with McCarthy Wolff for a long time”. This is a Durban-based bridal and eveningwear boutique created by Jane Wolff-Treloar, who has created iconic looks for Linda for events like the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere where she stuns in a breast-plated gown, the South African Music Awards, many Durban Julys and more.
Linda isn’t afraid to dabble in different aspects of fashion that reflect her personality and align with her vision.
She explains, “My fashion sense evolves and changes and goes with me with what I’m feeling and of course depending on the event as well.”
