General overview: Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
The shifts and changes that have happened over this past year have strengthened you and given you the resilience to help you cope with life’s knocks and challenges.
Being an emotional sign you naturally have an “ebb and flow” rhythm where there will always be fluctuations. The most important thing is not to cling to the past in the desire for emotional security, but to rather trust in the process and value your own independent choices while working towards the bigger picture.
There is still a lot of hard work to be done this year, particularly when it comes to reorganising your daily rhythm.
The methodical and structured work you do this year will start to manifest in surprising ways later when Saturn moves into the sign of Capricorn, promising you a more solid foundation to build on and a new sense of security and stability in certain key partnerships.
Love and relationships:
Family life seems optimistically grand as new opportunities and new people fill your home and heart. However,there is still an undercurrent turbulence that creates emotional fluctuations as old emotional patterns come back to haunt you from time to time.
It’s not all bad though. Things will start looking more optimistic if you work through those patterns – especially in the latter part of 2017 when the abundant energy of Jupiter moves into the house of pleasure and fun.
The bottom line is that the butterfly is slowly starting to emerge from its cocoon and you are almost ready to fly above the emotional drama that used to control you.
Work and money:
The flow is erratic and the path a little unpredictable. You can’t plan too far ahead or set fixed expectations.
Although uncertainty often increases when Jupiter is in opposition to the erratic energy of Uranus, the possibility of a change for the better can arise. You could find that people or circumstances will encourage you or demand that you be more innovative and independent.
If you have wanted to break away from limiting or restricting conditions, this may be the time to be assertive and create strategic plans to freelance or work more independently. There is still quite a juggle to keep the flow between family life and work in balance.
Some dates to take note are: the moon eclipse on the 11th of February, which highlights some investments or joint resources that need to be re-looked at if it is out of balance. Venus goes retrograde during the months of March – April, which highlights a shift or change in direction to do with finances at work.
This may affect you further down the line when the next moon eclipse pushes you to look more carefully at your own bank balance.
