General overview: Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
The tough task master and life teacher Saturn has been testing your patience, tolerance and endurance and will continue to do so until the end of 2017. This can be a challenging time for abundant, free-spirited Sagittarians because you are being forced to slow down and focus on your foundations.
This does not have to be a negative period.
In fact, if you take your responsibilities seriously and consolidate and build on what you have rather than scattering your energies in too many different areas, you may find that 2017 will prove to be a crucial year for roots and foundations for future opportunities.
When things are easy and bountiful one tends to take them for granted, but when they get taken away or restricted in some way you are forced to focus on the things closer to home.
Between the months of March and September it is a good time to restructure and consolidate your hidden talents and past achievements to work for you. From September you can start visualising a clear goal and plan to build up
Love and relationships:
This year the focus is more about doing the hard work to prepare the way for good times.
You may be taking a hard look at where you are at and where you want to go and sometimes these times are best done alone or with some space. If you’re focussing too much on others, you tend to distract yourself from doing this important inner work.
The law of attraction has always been a strong area for Sagittarians and your “glass half full” attitude has attracted a lot of opportunities to you in the past.
However, with the pace being more restricted this year, it is easy to become despondent or disillusioned and focus on what you don't have rather than visualising and creating a positive plan to work towards.
An attitude of gratitude can take you a long way. If you look carefully you have a large support system that can actually help you along the way. So, from a love angle, you are being challenged to take yourself more seriously and be present in the moment.
Work and money:
2016 was quite a significant year for you from a career perspective. For some this may have been the time to expand, travel or shift things within the current job you have.
2017 will now be helping you to reap what you sowed last year in your work decisions. You may start seeing the gains either through income or support. The biggest lesson you will learn over this period of time is that there is more to life than money and material gain.
You may even find that you are drawn towards a more spiritual or service related path later in the year, where your compassionate side may prompt you to pay it forward. This attitude will help you to feel more connected to your true purpose.
The bottom line is that 2017 is not the best year to be in the lime light, and the behind the scenes work you do this year will ultimately give you the confidence to shine your abundant light in late 2018 -2019.
