The Manor House on the picturesque Keerweer Farm outside Stellenbosch boasts a fresh interpretation of the architecture of a traditional farm outbuilding.

The original, red-roofed structure was mindfully renovated by architect Simon McCullagh to maintain a heritage feel.

Original features such as clay bricks and wooden beams were retained and combined with modern materials. Tall glass doors open out onto a lovely courtyard, which is tucked between the bedroom wing, a mudroom and the living areas. The bedroom wing is clad in corrugated sheeting.
