1 Eight days a week
Every Night of the Week (R340, Penguin Random House) by the hugely entertaining Sydney-based recipe writer, stylist and Instagram genie Lucy Tweed is a cookbook for people who don’t like hard-and-fast rules. It’s super practical and filled with shortcuts and permission to do it your own way! Apart from the chapters with meals for every day of the week (think Sticky Ribs and Spuds, Dan Dan Pan Noodles and Red Curry Chicken with Chewy Rice), I particularly enjoyed the section reserved for “that extra day you wished for” with recipes for sauces and sprinkles to ‘save your bacon’.
