ES Grossman of Cannon Rocks writes: My Hoya plant, which grows outside against a trellis, has a brown deposit on the leaves which is easily wiped off with a damp cloth.
As you can see from the picture, when half the leaf has been cleaned, the exposed leaf seems healthy. Not all the leaves have this deposit, neither is the deposit confined to the older leaves. What could this be?
