In the winter of 2020, Jeremy Puren bid farewell to Cape Town, returned to his parents’ farm near Swellendam, and made an unusual promise to himself: he would sleep outside in his tent every night from June to August, regardless of what the weather threw at him.

“The Covid-19 lockdown brought about big changes and uncertainty in my life. I just needed a moment to sit with it all,” explains Jeremy.
