Corlea Blake of Bloemfontein writes: Ever since our wet summer in 2021 I’ve been struggling with mealybugs on the leaves of my lemon trees. After trying to treat the problem organically, I was forced to spray Aphicide. Is there an organic product that will work successfully?
JJ replies: There are several products on the market that you can use, but for best results I recommend neem oil. I also know that some gardeners like to plant large garlic bulbs under their trees, which apparently helps to some extent.
