The Tjhoko Paint factory needed a revamp, and with only two weeks to get the space ready for a visiting TV crew, it was all hands on deck in early January this year.
“It was a time of painting, panting, running and organising,” says Tjhoko Paint marketing guru Nadine Vosloo. “But the reward was a fresh, colourful start to the new year.
“It’s the first project I’ve ever attempted that includes so many colours,” says Nadine. “But it was fun! Revamping a factory, or any busy space, while remaining 100% operational is a challenge, but we did it!
“And so can you; simply follow these steps to complete your own paint project – whether it’s a factory or a room in your house, the same rules apply.”

Here’s how…
1 Decide on a theme; it could be classical, bohemian, coastal, Mediterranean, Scandinavian, industrial, contemporary, retro... Do your research and go with what speaks to your soul and makes you happy.
2 Decide on colours that match your theme – and resonate with you.
3 This is important from the get-go: be realistic! Look at your space and see if it will in fact work with what you have in mind. Find inspiration in magazines, TV shows and social media. I also have a few mentors who really inspire me and get me going!
4 If necessary, rethink the space and rework your plan.
5 Phone a friend or email support@tjhokopaint.co.za.
6 Most importantly, enjoy the process! Follow us on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and let us know how we can help you or your business to experience beautiful moments filled with colour!
