We added a few drops of Woodoc Colours in Full Moon to the first coat of sealer to bring out the blonde in the pine.

You will need

* sanding blocks or sandpaper (100-grit)

* cloth

* masking tape * Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Clear Matt

* Woodoc Colours in Full Moon

* stirring spatula

* paintbrush

1. Prepare your surface: sand any wood filler smooth and wipe away all dust. Mask around the edges of window frames and where the wooden splashback meets the walls and ceiling.

2. Stir in the colour: we wanted to create a very light whitewash to break the natural yellow of the pine, so we added only 10ml of the Woodoc Colours Full Moon to 1L of Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Clear Matt.

3. Apply three coats of the mixture to the wooden splashback with a paintbrush. Let the sealer dry completely between coats and sand lightly after the first and second coats. Do not sand again after the last coat.
