You will need

  • 3 x wooden legs
  • Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Clear Matt
  • Woodoc Colours in the colour Oak
  • mixing container
  • mixing spatula
  • paintbrush
  • 2 x timber circles cut to the size of the base and opening of the bucket
  • round plastic dish
  • rope
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • screwdriver
  • screws

Step 1

Decant about 100ml of Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Clear Matt into the mixing container. Add the Woodoc Colours; stir well.

Step 2

Apply 3 coats of the tinted Woodoc Water-Borne FLOOR Matt to the wooden legs, letting the sealer dry between coats. Lightly sand after the first and second coats have dried; do not sand again after the third coat has dried.

Step 3

Position the smaller timber circle inside the dish. Position the legs, evenly spaced, at the bottom of the dish. Screw the legs in place.

Step 4

Use the hot glue gun to stick the larger circle on the top of the dish.

 Step 5

Attach the rope in a spiral formation from the centre point of the top of the stool with hot glue. Keep going in a spiral until you get to the bottom of the dish.
